Two Types of Foil Stamping

Here, we’ll let you know about two ways of getting foil stamping done and we can do both:

• Traditional foil stamping – It uses a metal plate with a design, similar to a standard die but specifically for foiling. The process is similar to using a rubber stamp. A layer of foil is placed between the heated die and the substrate. The die is then pressed onto the surface, making the foil adhere to the design from the metal plate.
• Digital foil stamping – A specific foil adheres to the surface of the design rather than using pressure and a metal die, similar to conventional foil stamping. Because of this, packaging with various foil colors or patterns doesn't need several runs through the printer.
